RiverLife changes lives by identifying and addressing critical needs in the community and equipping volunteers to serve with deep compassion and wide-reaching impact.

We partner with nonprofits and other organizations in our community to identify people in need of yard cleanup, exterior home repair and wheelchair ramp access. Our RiverLife team coordinates and leads these opportunities for volunteers to create a meaningful experience for those serving and to safely and respectfully meet the needs of those served.

To bring LIFE to others, we:

Live out our faith as we love God and love others.

Initiate partnerships and collaborate with other organizations to bring lasting change to the communities and individuals we serve.

Foster a spirit of grace as we serve with humility, integrity, and respect for others.

Ensure the safety of those serving and those served in our ministry.

The “River of Life” we read about in scripture describes the heartbeat of who we are. Ezekiel 47 describes a vision where the prophet sees a river flowing from the temple. As it pours out over the land, its waters grow deeper and wider. Everywhere the river flows, it brings life. Trees grow at the river’s banks and they produce fruit every month! Their fruit is used for food and their leaves for healing. The river empties into the Dead Sea and brings life where no life existed before. The vision Ezekiel describes literally transforms the circumstances around him.

RiverLife programs are designed to meet people in difficult situations and bring life-giving help and hope. We restore more than homes, because houses will need more repair and grass will continue to grow. We restore dignity, connection and community as we serve. Our volunteers often form lasting relationships with our clients, and through our visitation and client care programs like Silver Bells, we continue to care long after the project ends. As we #LiveTheRiverLife, we empower communities to Grow Deep in compassion and Reach Wide in service to others.
